  • Start Right hearing and vision screenings are driven by health technology:

    • Human error is minimized as our health screening software eliminates the possibility for the adult delivering the screening to lead the child’s responses.

  • Scoliosis Screening:

    Our manual scoliosis check is hands-on, but rest assured that your child will be looked after by our team.

     

    Our scoliosis specialist has over 10 years of experience in scoliosis clinics in both Singapore and the UK. She is trained in all aspects of scoliosis, from early detection through treatment.

     

    We measure the spine to detect any changes; this involves using a specialized piece of equipment with your child in a forward bending position. We will also routinely check for a leg length discrepancy, as this can contribute to the development of scoliosis.

  • Speech and Language evaluation:

    A speech and language evaluation for a child is a comprehensive assessment of a child's communication abilities, including speech and language skills.

     

    Start Right's evaluation is conducted by a speech-language pathologist, who will gather information about the child's communication development, any current difficulties or concerns, and the child's overall language skills.

     

    This can involve a variety of tests and tasks, including assessments of vocabulary, grammar, oral motor skills, articulation, and comprehension.

     

    The goal of the evaluation is to identify any speech or language delays or disorders and determine the best course of action for helping the child develop their communication abilities.
